Industrial Dust Collector Installation

Rigging the Baghouse & Supports

Critical Lift

Final Placement & Connections

Baghouse Project Overview

This industrial dust collector project for a ceramics manufacturer in Laurens County, South Carolina has been installed with success. Our client wanted to advance their dust collection operations and hired us directly to install a Donaldson Rugged Pleat system.

The dust collector, which is a baghouse-style system, combines a cyclone pre-cleaner and baghouse into a single unit.  The Rugged Pleat handles heavy dust loads and large air volumes and uses a PD pump cleaning system to provide energy-efficient filter cleaning.

JDI Industrial has extensive expert experience with baghouses, and this made us the top-choice industrial contractor for this project.

JDI’s rigging and millwright team worked with the facility manager to plan the project, deliveries, and the time-frame of the overall installation. Our team was given a month to both construct the concrete foundation and install the machinery.

Our team delivered the foundation on-time, which then led to their next phase of getting the equipment and then taking everything off the delivery trucks.

To get everything in place we worked with our partners from Twin City Fan on-site and installed the fan & blower system first, then prepared the baghouse for critical lifting.

Our team of rigging and industrial mechanical experts then set the access platform in place, shimmed and grouted the fan, then began assembling the duct work for the industrial dust collector.

The client is now able to be effective and continue to improve EPA guidelines for the facility due to JDI Industrial Services’ abilities.
